High Bar Communications (HBC) is me: Barbara Knisely Michelman. I spent the first part of my career honing my craft as a director of communications for national associations, nonprofits, and coalitions. Now I’m focused on delivering customized content and strategy to individual as well as organizational clients. Public education, social justice, and racial reconciliation represent core areas of my expertise; however, I love nothing more than diving in deeply to a new issue or cause.

When you work with HBC, you work directly with me. I don’t hand you off to someone else. I create the project vision, and I produce the deliverables.

The words “high bar” are more than just a catchy slogan. I set high standards for myself and the work I do for my clients.
